Perfume - adonxs

For ADONXS’s track Perfume, Émilie directed a hypnotic music video exploring limerence, obsession, and emotional repetition through the language of loops and movement.

The film follows Adam, trapped inside an endless cycle. It begins with him standing before a long garden, where he notices James in the distance. Amused by his way of being, Adam chases him through the garden in a playful yet increasingly obsessive pursuit.

Whenever Adam finally reaches him: the loop resets. Forcing the chase to begin once more.

As the video progresses, the game slowly fractures. Adam finally walks away, breaking free from the repetition, while James is left chasing him instead.

The pursuit eventually opens into a snow-covered garden. The end of a cycle, the fading of obsession, and the acceptance of letting go.
